Policy 0502.14 Expulsion of Students

The power to expel a student permanently from school is a power retained by the Board of Trustees. The burden of responsibility for discipline within any school in this District shall remain with the building administrators.

By written request, a parent may request an appeal of a decision of the District Discipline and Attendance Committee.

The Board directs the Superintendent or designee to prepare protocols and Administrative Regulation in support of this Policy.
